Village Construction

Farm House Dorm Habitability Project:

GREAT PROGRESS! Regular caretaker and security on-site as well as dedicated construction laborers. Samuel Okurut and volunteers have visited 4 times this year to boost the progress.

  • the farm structure for chicken coop was revived
  • security was reinforced with cameras and live feeds for remote access
  • power services reinstated to the property on the permanent electrical service lines
  • brush was cleared to maintain access, and ongoing with farm hand
  • steel security access gates and security wall received a refresh painting.

Also, Construction is well underway with firm foundations and walls being laid now for the 15 person dorm housing. Thank you for your contributions and your support of the project.

There is still need of approximately $150,000 for the building, furnishings and power and water hook-up.

We anticipate that teams and construction workers will be able to inhabit the new facility in early 2027.
